Situational Leadership Framework

The Situational Leadership model is based on two key factors:

Task Behaviour and Relationship Behaviour, which determine the leadership style required for any given situation.

01

Directing:

High task focus, low relationship focus. This is used when team members need specific guidance to complete tasks, often for new or inexperienced employees.

02

Coaching:

High task and high relationship focus. This involves both directing and supporting your team, providing clear guidance while encouraging input and feedback to develop skills and confidence.

03

Supporting:

Low task focus, high relationship focus. Here, the leader focuses on building the team's confidence and autonomy, stepping back from directing tasks but being available for support and feedback.

04

Delegating:

Low task and low relationship focus. The leader hands over most responsibilities, allowing experienced team members to operate independently, providing minimal guidance.

By applying the right leadership style to the right situation, business owners can better manage their teams, boost productivity, and foster growth.

Higher level of business and personal performance

“Our business has worked with this team for the past decade. Their coaching extends beyond just helping us increase sales. They have assisted with business planning, staff recruitment and training. They are an excellent sounding board and often hold us accountable to a higher level of business and personal performance. We are delighted with the support they have provided and have recommended them to a number of other businesses”

Commitment to ongoing improvement and optimisation

“What sets Growth Potential apart is their commitment to ongoing improvement and optimisation. He's responsive, proactive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help us succeed. Most importantly Tim has challenged my thoughts and has called me out on my bullshit which has ultimately motivated me to hold myself to account. Thanks to Growth Potential and Tim, we've been able to expand our reach, attract new customers, and grow our business in ways we never thought possible. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we would highly recommend their services to any business looking to take their growth to the next level. ”

Support moving forward as a key pillar in my growth

“I have been working with Tim for over two years now and he has helped shape the business into what it is today. We have built processes and systems that work, scripts & dialogues that cut through and created a clear plan that is being executed. I find that he provides such clarity in my business, and the direction in where it’s going. His insights from a non-real estate perspective are incredibly valuable. I look forward to having his support moving forward as a key pillar in my growth.”
