We specialise in working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various industries. Whether you're a startup looking for direction, an established business aiming to scale, or a family business navigating succession, our coaching is tailored to your unique challenges and goals.
2. What makes your coaching firm different from others?
We’re a boutique, 6-person coaching team, meaning you get highly personalised service with direct access to a team of experienced advisors. Unlike larger firms, we take the time to understand your business inside and out, ensuring customised strategies and hands-on support, not just generic advice.
3. Do you offer one-on-one coaching or group coaching?
Both! We provide one-on-one coaching for business owners who need personalised strategies and accountability, as well as group coaching and workshops for teams looking to develop leadership skills, improve collaboration, and implement effective business systems. The later has its place and we find a great way to engage a team to make it easier for the owner to develop them at speed, or often for us a way to connect a number of business owners for education outside of the normal, and facilitate referral partner opportunities.
4. How do your coaching programs work?
Our coaching is structured around your needs. We typically start with an initial strategy session to understand your challenges and goals, then for ease & speed we create a tailored plan for you. Sessions can be held in person or virtually, with regular check-ins to ensure progress and adjustments as needed.
5. How long does a coaching engagement typically last?
It depends on your goals. Very rarely clients work with us for a few months to tackle specific challenges, or to execute a buy or sell of a business, but the vast majority engage in long-term coaching for ongoing growth and accountability.
We have a lot of clients that have been working with one of the teams for 5-10 years and few a little longer than that. Our investment level is under market norms to make it a no-brainer to continue getting support long-term. To build a great business that gives you the life that you want is often a 5-10year exercise, not a 12-month sprint as many sell and promise.
6. Do you help businesses that are struggling, or just those looking to grow?
Both! Whether you need help overcoming financial challenges, restructuring your operations, or creating a growth strategy, we provide practical solutions to move your business forward. Our goal is to help you stabilise, optimise, and thrive - no matter where you are in your business journey. Plenty initially engage due to challenge but just as many join because we are the “gym” where good businesses get better (fit people getting fitter).

Our team has worked with businesses in professional services, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, technology, healthcare, franchising, and more. While each industry has its nuances, the fundamentals of leadership, strategy, and growth apply across all businesses.

Absolutely! Our Exit & Succession Planning services help business owners maximise their business value, develop leadership continuity, and create a smooth transition plan. Whether you're selling, passing it down, or stepping back from daily operations. Navigating the negotiation is a delicate and critical part of this process, and experienced advice can not just be the difference in getting a good price, but in getting a deal at all across the line.
9. How do I know if business coaching is right for me?
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to take your business to the next level, coaching can provide the clarity, structure, and accountability you need. 11. How much does business coaching cost?
Our coaching fees vary based on the level of support you need. We offer flexible pricing options, from single strategy sessions to ongoing coaching programs. During our initial consultation is normally when we know enough to be accurate as to what the investment level will be. From there, we’ll discuss your goals and recommend a package that fits your needs and budget.
We only engage when we believe we can get great return on investment for you, and this is ensured as we never operate with lock in contracts (a pet hate of ours because it's throughout our industry) for coaching, month by month means getting you great results is the only thing that will make you stay.
12. What can I expect from my first coaching session?
Your first session is all about understanding your business, challenges, and goals. We’ll dive into your current situation, identify key areas for improvement, and start mapping out actionable steps. It’s a collaborative, no-pressure conversation focused on moving your business forward, combined with a bit of business education to assist you immediately in solving some of your current challenges.
What is also often described to us from new clients after the first session, is an enormous sense of relief.
Relief that all the things that have been on their mind for years, are now in a clear plan that isn’t too overwhelming, added to the fact they have someone independent helping them achieve their goals.
13. Do you offer remote/virtual coaching?
Yes! We work with clients both in person and virtually, depending on what works best for you. Our virtual coaching sessions provide the same personalised support, ensuring flexibility without sacrificing time & effectiveness. The majority of clients have a blend of both. A best of both worlds approach.
14. Can my leadership team participate in coaching?
Definitely! We offer Senior Leadership Team Guidance to help your team develop stronger leadership skills, improve decision-making, and align on strategic goals. Whether it’s one-on-one leadership coaching or group sessions, we tailor our approach to your needs.
We find that clients as they grow from say $500K to $1M then to $2M then $5M their coaching and advisory needs change and evolve. Quite often as a Senior Leadership Team / GM / Senior Leader is added to the team, it makes sense for us to include them into the coaching rhythm for better business outcomes.
15. What if I’m too busy to commit to coaching?
It might be the very reason you need to start. Business coaching helps you work smarter, not harder, by streamlining operations, delegating effectively, and focusing on what truly drives growth. Even a few hours a month can lead to big improvements in efficiency and profitability.
Not trying to sound too direct, but “I’m too busy” is a very dangerous excuse to not be proactive in many areas of business and life, and the confronting truth is that at some point, it has to change.
As the old saying goes, the best time to plant a tree is 10 years ago, the second best time is to plant a tree today.
16. Will coaching guarantee my business success?
While no one can guarantee success, our coaching significantly increases your chances of achieving your goals by providing expert strategies, accountability, and practical solutions. The growth year on year by our clients is testament to the fact one-on-one coaching is extremely effective in creating change. Even through major black swan events like the Pandemic. Year on year our clients continue to grow and build the lives that they want.
The results of course ultimately depend on your commitment to taking action and implementing changes. Getting assistance doesn’t remove that responsibility but it certainly makes it easier to get to where you want to be.

Yes, in fact it is often a big part of what we do in the first few years until the lead generation and conversion is optimised for long term growth.
